Food was excellent. It’s standard American Chinese food at decent prices. Great egg roll. Deserves higher than the 3.9 stars it’s received thus far. We dined in and service was fast.
Edited to add: my partner and I dined in for dinner and we were very happy with our meal! The dining atmosphere was very nice, service was very prompt and polite, and our food tasted great. We will gladly be back for takeout and will be happy to bring family here for dinner when they visit from out of town. Grabbed a few appetizers (beef on a stick, a guilty pleasure, and the shrimp spring rolls and steamed dumplings) and was pleased with my meal. The steamed dumplings were interesting - they looked like something I would make at home (a little clumsy) but the filling was good, had fresh veggies in it, and very little fat/grease in the filling. Overall better than recent takeout I’ve gotten in Charlottesville, I’ll definitely be back! Especially since the food, ambiance, and service seemed much better than another local Chinese takeout place.
Went for the lunch buffet today & of the 3 local Chinese restaurants, I think this is my new favorite. It is very nice and clean on the inside, which I was not expecting, since the outside is so unassuming. The food at the buffet was very fresh. My favorite was the chicken and broccoli. My kids liked the Chinese donuts & the egg drop soup. The service was excellent... Friendly & attentive. The price can’t be beat (6.75 for lunch buffet, 4.50 for children 3-7, Free for 3 & under... Our family of 5 ate for less than 25.00)
